In June, South Dakota Lt. Gov. Matt Michels helped with the ribbon cutting of Dakota Metals, a metal recycling company, in Beresford, SD, to mark that it is officially open for business.
In a press release from the governor's office, Mayor Jim Fedderson said how huge this new and innovative technology is for Beresford.
“It’s been a pleasure to work with a company that’s so progressive,” said Jim Fedderson. “Our partnership with the state means this project isn’t just a win for our community, it’s a win for our region and South Dakota as a whole.”
Brent Reilly, Senior Vice President-Director of Private Banking at Loft Advisors, was the lead lender on this project to purchase land, construct the building, and purchase the equipment.
“It has been a pleasure to be a part of bringing Dakota Metals full circle from a dream to a reality. There were several parties that pulled together to make it happen and the company has a bright future ahead. These projects that help build our communities are the core of what First Dakota National Bank and Loft Advisors Private Banking are all about. We look forward to a successful future with John, Mark, and the rest of the Dakota Metals team,” said Reilly.
